New Eveo London office serves as jumping off point

Digital healthcare marketing agency Eveo has opened an office in London. The award-winning agency is based in San Francisco and the London location is its first office outside of the United States. Agency executives say that although Eveo has been serving global clients since inception in 1999, the physical presence in London will help the agency offer a unique portfolio of digital services. These services include mobile development and digital marketing.
“Most of our U.S. clients have their headquarters in Europe, so it just made sense to expand our relationships first in Europe,” says Eveo founder and CEO Olivier Zitoun. “In today’s Europe, location does not matter as much as it used to. Everything is an hour away. We chose London as a jumping off point to easily access our clients all over Europe, in England, France, Switzerland, Germany, and many other countries. London is also a great place to recruit top talents in the agency world and our Euro team is all from there.”
In addition, Zitoun told Med Ad News Daily, “This is just the beginning of Eveo’s global expansion. In the near term, London will be the hub from which we will serve multiple European markets, and possibly markets outside of Europe as well. As we grow relationships with companies in new markets, we will open additional offices as needed.”
Cheslea Goodman, VP and group account director at Eveo, will lead the London team and oversee the growing operation. Prior to her move to London, Goodman headed Eveo’s New York office and worked in interactive development for top-tier advertising agencies for the last 10 years, including OgilvyOne Worldwide, Publicis Modem, and Heartbeat Digital. During the course of her career, she has developed award-winning programs for many pharmaceutical companies including Wyeth, Sanofi, Eli Lilly, Amgen, and Novartis. Goodman’s expertise ranges across several disciplines from strategy development to multi-channel campaign management and execution. “Eveo’s best-in-class digital solutions are very well-suited for the European market, especially in the areas of mobile for healthcare professionals and patients,” Goodman said.
Another key member of the Eveo London team is Colin Wheeler, VP and business development director, who joins Eveo from M2 Worldwide, where he established the U.S.-based marketing communications company’s London office in 2011. As managing partner, Wheeler worked with pharma and healthcare clients including Pfizer, Abbott Laboratories, and Grunenthal, in strategy and multichannel planning and execution. Previously, Wheeler was in London with WPP Group, including JWT and WPP Team Vodafone, for nine years and he has worked in advertising and marketing communications for nearly 30 years.
“Digitally-native, Eveo is a full service healthcare communication agency, rooted in innovation and technology,” Zitoun told Med Ad News Daily. “As such, we partner with health brands to develop insights-driven innovative campaigns with a strong focus on mobile and social. As both trends are converging and growing fast in Europe, we see great European opportunities to leverage our deep experience in these areas. Other key services include: CRM for patient and professionals; mobile apps; iPad digital selling; gaming; peer to peer; videos and animations; and tradeshow innovations.”
