More than 7.1 million people have signed up for 2015 health coverage through Affordable Care Act marketplaces. For women like Elena, Yvonne and Rachel who pursue the jobs they love, affordable coverage gives them peace of mind and access to quality care.
For many working women, pregnancy and childbirth present unique challenges. Fortunately, the ACA includes provisions that ensure women get the support they need during this time. Here are four ways the ACA helps working women around the country:
