Webinars on the Health Care Law

The HHS Partnership Center and CMS have updated webinars on the health care law for faith and community organizations. All webinars are open to the public and include a question and answer session. To participate in one of the webinars, please select your preferred topic from the list below and submit the necessary information. Please contact us at ACA101@hhs.gov if you have problems registering or if you have questions about the health care law. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) invites you to join a presentation that will highlight the National Disability Navigator Resource Collaborative (NDNRC) and will discuss what questions a person with a disability needs to think about when they are considering their health care options in the ACA Marketplace. Additionally, this webinar will discuss NDNRC’s leadership in conducting outreach to the disability community to encourage enrollment and how you can be involved in helping people with disabilities get the healthcare coverage they need.  A vast majority of uninsured Latino children, an estimated 1.7 million, are eligible for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) but not enrolled. Closing the coverage gap for these children requires unique, culturally-competent outreach strategies to connect eligible families with health coverage.

Affordable Care Act 101 Webinars for Small Employers, Including Nonprofit Organizations

SBA and Small Business Majority will host a free Affordable Care Act 101webinar so small business owners can learn the basics of the Affordable Care Act and how they can enroll in health insurance marketplaces.
In addition, Spanish-speaking small employers throughout the country can join representatives from SBA, HHS and Small Business Majority for an ACA 101 webinar in Spanish. Below is the registration link
