#InteropRoadmap listening session

Don't miss ONC's Erica Galvez, interoperability and exchange portfolio manager, who will convene a listening session about the Interoperability Roadmap. The purpose is to hear what clinicians have to say about the #InteropRoadmap so please swing by the Federal Health IT Pavilion for a Q & A with ONC's Erica Galvez on the Nationwide Interoperability Roadmap. We want to hear from the health care provider community to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities that advancing interoperable infrastructure for health IT pose for you. Grantee Listening Session

Calling all ONC Grantees (and their subcontractors)! Ahmed Haque, the director of ONC's Office of Programs, will discuss how changes to the EHR Incentive program impacts adoption of interoperable health IT. Weigh in and tell us how you think changes to the EHR Incentive Program and future stages of Meaningful Use will impact the adoption of interoperable health IT tools. Privacy & Security 101

ONC's Chief Privacy Officer Lucia Savage (@SavageLucia) talks #privacy & #security 101. Ms. Savage will highlight new findings on Electronic Consent Management and the SAMSHA pilot on "data segmentation for privacy." The focus of the talk will be what it takes to make privacy as interoperable as the health information itself, providing an overview of the latest findings and a forecast of what is to come. The session kicks off at 2:30pm and runs until 3:30pm in Room: S100C.

Office Hours with ONC Office of Planning, Evaluation and Analysis Staff

Meet Matt Swain, from the ONC Office of Planning, Evaluation and Analysis, who can answer your questions about the Health IT Strategic Plan and all the interesting research ONC is involved in. Mr. Swain will be available to talk from 2:30pm – 4:30pm Federal Health IT Pavilion booth 6436.

ONC Chief Privacy Officer Listening Session

Ms. Savage is up again for a listening session beginning at 4:00pm and running until 5:00pm in Room: W23 BC. She wants to hear about the salient #privacy & #security issues you face. We often hear from health care stakeholders that they are confused about privacy and security laws and regulations. This session is your opportunity to talk directly to ONC's CPO about your issues. General Education Session on National HCIT Infrastructure

Steve Posnack, ONC's director of Standards and Policy, and Alicia Morton, director of the ONC Health IT Certification Program , will hold a general education session about the National HCIT infrastructure from 5:15pm – 5:45pm at the Accenture booth 3831.

Acting Deputy National Coordinator Office Hours

Meet ONC's Acting Deputy National Coordinator Dr. Jon White, who can walk you through President Obama’s $215 million precision medicine initiative and discuss how health IT is contributing to better health, smarter spending and healthier patients! Dr. White will be available from 5:00pm – 6:00pm in the Federal Health IT Pavilion booth 6436.
