Substance Abuse (SA) and HIV Prevention Services for At-Risk Racial/Ethnic Minority Young Adults
Initiative SP-10-004
The Capacity Building Initiative (CBI) is one of the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention's (CSAP's) grant programs funded under SAMHSA's Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The purpose of the MAI is to provide SA and HIV prevention services to at-risk minority college populations in communities disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS. The program aims to engage colleges, universities, and community-level domestic public and private nonprofit entities to prevent and reduce the onset of SA and transmission of HIV/AIDS among at-risk racial/ethnic minority young adults, age 18 to 24, including minority college students.
Webinar attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions related to the Request for Applications (RFA) requirements. For more details on applying to the CSAP RFA and to obtain an application, please go to www.samhsa.gov and click on "Grants" or go to www.grants.gov. Any questions about this RFA can be emailed to 2010CBI@samhsa.hhs.gov.
