He is Director of the Imperial Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality and the Clinical Safety Research Unit at Imperial College. He is the editor of Clinical Risk Management and author of the book Patient Safety. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. We spoke with him about his career and about patient safety in the United Kingdom.
