Last year, 200 organizations participated in National Health IT Week 2011, which was also recognized by President Obama—who issued an official Proclamation of National Health IT Week —and by the U.S. Senate, which passed a Resolution declaring National Health IT Week. The Seventh Annual National Health IT Week is being held September 10-14, 2012. Join us for this collaborative forum where public and private healthcare constituents will work in partnership to educate industry and policy stakeholders on the value of health IT for the US healthcare system. There is no better time for the health IT community to come together under one umbrella to raise national awareness!
Comprehensive health care reform is not possible without system-wide adoption of health information technology, which improves the quality of healthcare delivery, increases patient safety, decreases medical errors, and strengthens the interaction between patients and healthcare providers.
With Meaningful Use now providing the way forward, eligible providers across the country increasingly understand the benefits for themselves and their patients, and are adopting Meaningful Use compliant electronic health records.
