eGEMS Call for Papers: Improving User Interface to Improve Patient Outcomes The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Electronic Data Methods Forum have issued a call for papers for a special eGEMs(Generating Evidence & Methods to improve patient outcomes) issue titled “Evidence into Action: Improving User Interface to Improve Patient Outcomes.” Authors are encourage to submit papers that examine conceptual models for development of user-friendly HIT interfaces, innovative methods for usability testing, and results of pilot or usability testing that demonstrate improved process outcomes. eGEMs is an open access journal focused on using electronic clinical data to advance research and quality improvement, with the overall goal of improving patient and community outcomes.
