President Obama on America's Response to Ebola: "When Disease or Disaster Strikes, Americans Help" | The White House

Yesterday, in the East Room of the White House, the President joined health care workers who have been serving on the front lines to combat Ebola in West Africa. In his remarks, President Obama thanked these workers for their extraordinary and selfless work, and called on us to honor them as well.
"That's what's happening because of American leadership, and it is not abstract: it is people who are willing to go there at significant sacrifice to make a difference," he said. "That's American exceptionalism. That's what we should be proud of. That's who we are."
Watch the President's remarks here.
