The new, interactive training, Pathways to Safer Opioid Use, teaches healthcare providers how to implement opioid-related recommendations from HHS’ National Action Plan for Adverse Drug Event Prevention. The training allows users to assume the role of four characters — pharmacist, physician, patient, and nurse — and make decisions about preventing adverse drug events (ADEs) related to opioid use. Free CME is available to participants who complete the course.
