Yesterday the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued guidance to states regarding opportunities to design service delivery systems for individuals with substance use disorder (SUD), including a new opportunity for demonstration projects approved under section 1115 of the Social Security Act to ensure that a continuum of care is available to individuals with SUD.
