ISMP Survey on the Use of External Ambulatory Pumps in Hospitals.

Institute for Safe Medication Practices. September 10, 2105.

Infusion therapies are increasingly being administered at home through the use of ambulatory pump devices. This survey seeks to collect data from hospitals on how they manage patients using three categories of ambulatory infusion pumps to ensure that therapy is safely continued or stopped. The deadline for survey participation is October 30, 2015.
