Application Period Extended to March 31 for TeamSTEPPS® Advanced Courses

Applications for health care teams who wish to take an AHRQ TeamSTEPPS® Advanced Course has been extended to March 31. This new course builds upon the existing two-day Master Training Course with new instructional resources on:

• Integrating and Hardwiring TeamSTEPPS Principles and Practices
• Building the New Change Team for the Future of Healthcare
• Coaching Coaches: Supporting Teams
• The Business Case for TeamSTEPPS: Connecting Principles, Practices and Outcomes

This unique course is not a TeamSTEPPS refresher. It is an enriched training to foster leadership development and the growth of dedicated TeamSTEPPS participants committed to improving patient safety by better integrating, spreading, and sustaining TeamSTEPPS in their organizations. The training consists of a pre-work phase to be completed prior to attending the eight hour in-person course with a team of three healthcare professionals.
