This two-course series offers information and resources for providers serving individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorder.

Clinical Decision Support for Prescribers Treating Individuals with Co-occurring Disorders (2 courses; 1.5 hours/1.5 CME each)

In this scenario-based series, participants meet “Nick,” a young father with many strengths who is living with both substance use and mental illness. The course explores the question: How do I work with Nick and help him meet his needs in ways that are both evidence based and recovery-focused?
Each course is approved for FREE 1.5 American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) CME credits.
The faculty are national experts in recovery including Ken Minkoff, M.D.; Curley Bonds, M.D.; Lisa Dixon, M.D.; and Jacquelyn Pettis, R.N., M.S.N.
They will offer tools, tips, and strategies for addressing Nick’s needs, and those of other individuals you may serve facing similar challenges.
