Design for Patient and Staff Safety: A Systems Approach.

The physical environment can affect the safety of care. This workshop will review how the built environment can contribute to falls, medication errors, hospital-acquired infections, and other safety concerns. Instructors will introduce a toolkit to help organizations assess their spaces for problematic conditions and address them proactively during design and construction.
