Join SAMHSA for a Technical Assistance Coalition webinar with Mental Health America about the need for partnerships between peer specialists and law enforcement in responding to mental health service calls. The Mental Health Association of Nebraska (MHA-NE) and the Lincoln Police Department (LPD) are increasing the presence of peer specialists, and providing law enforcement officers and individuals experiencing a mental health crisis with an alternative solution to incarceration and hospitalization.
