ProMED Will Be There

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your support! The number of ProMED subscribers has never been higher, we’ve sent 7,640 ProMED posts over the past year in five languages, and donors from 31 countries have chosen to support an essential source of news and information they use every day in their professional and personal lives.

Thanks to the generosity of our institutional, corporate, and individual donors, whenever global health challenges arise ProMED will be there. Its vigilance and expert commentary will be as vital as ever, supporting the hard work and creativity of infectious disease and public health workers everywhere. Please include yourself in that community.

There are still many who need to know about ProMED. Please tell colleagues in your department, your co-workers, and your students why you subscribe and how you use this information resource to improve your work, inform your research, and increase your knowledge. The more who join the ProMED community, the stronger it will be. The more subscribers ProMED has, the easier it is to share the cost of keeping its news and information free.

Thank you for your readership and your support!

Sincerely,

Larry Madoff, MD
Editor, ProMED

P.S. If you keep meaning to contribute, but haven’t yet found the time, it’s not too late. If ProMED starts your day, if you turn to it in your work and teaching, if you find it interesting, essential, and intellectually stimulating, isn't it time to contribute?
