This study evaluated the usability of the I-PASS-to-PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) tool, which is designed to support handoffs between referring clinicians and receiving PICU physicians. Testing with a small group of PICU physicians using simulated and actual handoff calls indicated good feasibility.
