Dendritic cell–specific intercellular adhesion molecule-3-grabbing nonintegrin (DC-SIGN) is a cellular receptor for delta inulin adjuvant

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/imcb.12774?utm_campaign=+60813123&utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= After decades of mystery, scientists have uncovered how the NIAID-supported delta inulin vaccine adjuvant works, lowering the hurdle to regulatory approval for vaccine candidates that contain it. Adjuvants are substances formulated as part of a vaccine to boost immune responses and enhance vaccine effectiveness. NIAID has funded the discovery and development of the delta inulin adjuvant for many years, currently through a tuberculosis vaccine adjuvant research program.
