Bryan Sexton, PhD, Director of the Duke Center for the Advancement of Well-being Science, Jonathan Bakdash, PhD, Social Science Analyst at the Center for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and Joann Sorra, PhD, Vice President for Behavioral Health and Health Policy at Westat, will discuss strategies for assessing and strengthening safety culture. The session will provide an in-depth overview of AHRQ’s Surveys on Patient Safety Culture (SOPS) and real-world applications for driving improvement. Speakers will also highlight the latest pulse version of the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPS) and the role of data tracking in quality enhancement.
