Mail order, an evidence-based delivery mechanism for the medication, is also under scrutiny; anti-abortion groups now claim that if mifepristone is available by mail, abusive men will use it to coerce women into having unwanted abortions. Therefore, they argue, it should only be available through an in-person clinic visit, or not at all.
