The groups gave high marks on efficacy and tolerability to AbbVie's Qulipta, Lundbeck's Vyepti, Amgen and Novartis' Aimovig, Teva's Ajovy, and Lilly's Emgality. They also recommended the drugs as a preventive option for patients who frequently rely on pain medication once their attacks begin. Some experts, however, were concerned that the new guidelines are complicated and may scare off primary care doctors.
