NIST Seeks Cybersecurity Products, Technical Expertise for Data Integrity Effort
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has issued a Federal Register Notice inviting interested parties to provide cybersecurity-related products and technical expertise for the Data Integrity project. An effort at NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE), this project aims to help organizations recover from events that alter or destroy data, by developing solutions for such tasks as identifying corrupted data and automating the restoration of uncorrupted data from backup storage.
The Federal Register Notice launches a collaborative effort between NCCoE and technology companies to address cybersecurity challenges identified in the Data Integrity project. Participation is open to all interested organizations, which can request a Letter of Interest template from NIST. For more information, see the Federal Register Notice and the Data Integrity program page.
