Announcement of National Diabetes Prevention Program Customer Service Center
The Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program expanded model (MDPP) is a CMS Innovation Center nationwide model test that builds on the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). CDC’s National Diabetes Prevention Program is a partnership of public and private organizations working to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. As such, CDC seeks to provide support to organizations who are helping to scale and sustain these prevention efforts across the nation.
To increase its support for the National DPP community, CDC has announced that the National DPP Customer Service Center (CSC) is now live at NationalDPPCSC.cdc.gov.
The National DPP CSC is an interactive online resource for organizations who deliver, promote, partner with, refer to, and cover the lifestyle change program, and serves as a hub for National DPP resources and technical assistance. We encourage you to register with the National DPP CSC and use it to:
- Find resources and events (CDC guidance materials, FAQs, toolkits, training videos, webinars, etc.)
- Discuss opportunities and challenges with the National DPP community
- Engage with subject matter experts for technical assistance through the CSC
- Submit success stories and feedback on your experience to the CSC
If you’d like additional information on the National DPP CSC, please take a few minutes to watch their introduction and demonstration video.
Please direct any questions regarding the National DPP Customer Service Center to NationalDPPAsk@cdc.gov.
