Webinar: COVID-19—Vulnerable Populations and Palliative Care: Call for Social Justice
The webinar will be held July 9 at 3:00 pm (EDT). Speakers will discuss the pandemic’s impact on diverse, vulnerable populations, including blacks/African Americans, Latinx, persons with disabilities, immigrants, persons who are incarcerated, older adults, nursing home residents, and persons experiencing homelessness. Presenters will address the central role of palliative care across all systems and provide a trauma-informed perspective on working with people affected by the pandemic, as well as the critical importance of workforce education and training.
