EHC Program Update: Opportunity to Submit Supplemental Evidence and Data

effective health care program - helping you make better treatment choices

Opportunity to Submit Scientific Information

The Effective Health Care (EHC) Program is interested in receiving supplemental evidence and data (SEADs) for systematic reviews that are relevant to the questions in our evidence reports. To ensure that it has full access to relevant research, whether or not it is published, the EHC Program is interested in receiving SEADs containing detailed study-specific information. Opportunities to submit scientific information are available for:
Prehabilitation and Rehabilitation for Major Joint Replacement
(Available for submission until August 11, 2020)
This systematic review will assess the evidence about prehabilitation and rehabilitation options for patients who are undergoing (or have undergone) elective, unilateral, total knee or hip replacement surgery for Osteoarthritis.
Breast Reconstruction After Mastectomy
(Submission deadline extended until July 31, 2020)
This review will assess the evidence about surgical breast reconstruction options for women who are undergoing (or have undergone) mastectomy for breast cancer.
Disparities and Barriers for Pediatric Cancer Survivorship Care
(Submission deadline extended until August 14, 2020)
This review will provide an overview of the existing evidence and forthcoming research relevant to disparities and barriers for pediatric cancer survivorship care, outline open questions and offer concrete guidance for future research.
This technology assessment will critically appraise evidence on improvement of health outcomes with continuous positive airway pressure treatment and for the validity of criteria used as surrogate outcomes.
(Section 944 (c) of the Public Health Service Act [42 U.S.C. 299c 3(c)] requires that information collected for research conducted or supported by AHRQ that identifies individuals or establishments be used only for the purpose for which it was supplied unless they consent to the use of the information for another purpose.)
