Fall Tailoring Interventions for Patient Safety (Fall TIPS) is an evidence-based program that engages patients in their own fall prevention program. This study showed that after implementing the Fall TIPS program, falls and falls with injury decreased in several hospital units resulting in a return on investment of $982,700.
