Access to healthy and affordable food is a central issue affecting the health and trend toward obesity of our nation’s children. Over 16 million children continue to live in food-insecure households, where putting healthy food on the table is a struggle.

 In many communities, food pantries are a critical resource available to families. Please join us to hear how Catholic Charities West Virginia incorporated health and wellness education into its food pantry’s operation. They will share their innovative Wellness Works program and take your questions!
