Long-term effects of an e-learning course on patient safety: a controlled longitudinal study with medical students.

Teaching patient safety effectively to medical students has become an increased area of focus. In this study, researchers found that exposing medical students to an e-learning course on patient safety improved their knowledge on the topic immediately after the intervention and that they seemed to retain the information a year later.
