Disability Law Conference—Olmstead at Twenty: The Past and Future of Community Integration
This conference will take place at the Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, August 8–9, 2019. The conference will explore the history of Olmstead v. L.C. and E.W., a groundbreaking civil rights decision for people with disabilities. Speakers will assess the current state of compliance and imagine a path forward where all people with disabilities have access to the supports they need to live full and meaningful lives in the community. The conference is cohosted by the Georgia State University Center for Law, Health & Society and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
