Supervisory Microbiologist
NIAID seeks exceptional applicants with diverse skill sets in basic and translational infectious disease research to serve as a supervisory microbiologist overseeing the Virology Branch within the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. This position has a direct responsibility to accelerate development of vaccines and other countermeasures to respond to threats from viral infections including Zika, Ebola, dengue, chikungunya, and acute flaccid myelitis from early stage development to clinical evaluation.
Experience in basic, translational, or clinical research in viral diseases, experience managing and evaluating a comprehensive research portfolio, and supervisory experience are preferred.
