This 14-page rapid policy brief encourages policymakers, regulators, companies, funders, and research institutions to consider ways in which COVID-19 treatments and vaccines can be developed, accessed, and distributed to those who need them in fair and equitable ways. In light of the truly global nature of the pandemic, it calls for international cooperation and collaboration across all different sectors working on COVID-19 to share the benefits of research, and for the development of policies for fair and equitable access to treatments and vaccines before these products are available.
