The Trump administration is flooding Instagram and Facebook with drug pricing ads

The Trump administration launched a new advertising blitz on Sunday touting President Trump’s record on drug pricing and slamming Joe Biden as the much-maligned pharma industry’s favorite candidate. Lev has the scoop for STAT here.

The ads, which are running in swing states like Florida and Nevada, appear to tout three policies the Trump administration unveiled last month but which have yet to be enacted. 

The drug industry has largely avoided choosing sides in the 2020 presidential election, according to a recent STAT review of campaign finance disclosures.
