As Election Day in the U.S. approaches, talk of a Covid-19 vaccine has become even more fervent, even though it's highly unlikely a vaccine will be ready in the next six weeks. Already, these lofty promises about an accelerated timeline seem to have eroded public trust in the process, as fewer people in the U.S. share with pollsters that they will be ready to take a vaccine when it becomes available.
