The purpose is to solicit input from stakeholders on increasing the enrollment of historically underrepresented populations in pediatric clinical studies, and encouraging pediatric clinical study participation that reflects the prevalence of the other disease or condition among demographic subgroups, where appropriate, and other topics. CDER’s Office of New Drugs will host this workshop in collaboration with the University of Maryland Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (M-CERSI). The workshop will be both on-site at FDA’s White Oak Campus (Silver Spring, MD) and virtual. The agency will provide the Zoom link to all registered attendees in a calendar invitation prior to the meeting.
