This meta-analysis found some improved patient outcomes (e.g., reduced in-hospital and intensive care unit mortality) in facilities using a rounding checklist in the ICU. Providers had a generally positive perception of rounding checklists, particularly around team collaboration. Further randomized studies are needed to increase certainty of evidence.
