The Intersection of Public Health and Health Care in the 21st Century: Hot Topics and Practice Tips, Part I

This free webinar, hosted by the American Health Lawyers Association’s public interest committee, will explore the recent national shift in focus from adoption of health information technology to interoperability and data sharing, and will highlight legal and enforcement initiatives aimed at the sharing of medical records. Speakers will offer perspectives on "interoperability" and "information blocking" as defined by the 21st Century Cures Act and state law, and will discuss key data security areas that covered entities must consider as they implement new technologies. This webinar will take place September 26, 2018, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm (EDT).
