Hospital IQR-Promoting Interoperability Program Alignment Outreach and Education Webinar October 24, 2018: Walking Through the Steps to Successful eCQM Submission for CY 2018 Hospital Reporting
This Outreach and Education webinar for participants in the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Program and the Medicare and Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Programs (previously known as the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Programs) is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
The webinar, titled Walking Through the Steps to Successful eCQM Submission for CY 2018 Hospital Reporting, will be presented by Artrina Sturges, EdD, Alignment of Electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) Lead, Hospital Inpatient Value, Incentives, and Quality Reporting (VIQR) Outreach and Education Support Contractor (SC) and Veronica Dunlap, BSN, RN, CCM, Project Manager II, Hospital Inpatient VIQR Outreach and Education SC.
This presentation is geared toward hospital staff and vendors with limited knowledge of the eCQM data-submission process and those who would like a refresher demonstration specific to calendar year (CY) 2018 reporting. The demonstration will walk data submitters through the steps to electronically report clinical quality measure (CQM) data via the QualityNet Secure Portal. The steps include uploading Quality Reporting Document Architecture Category I files, as well as entering zero denominator declarations and case threshold exemptions to successfully meet the eCQM portion of the Hospital IQR Program and Promoting Interoperability Program requirements for CY 2018 hospital reporting.
