Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period
is October 15 - December 7
Medicare health and drug plans can make changes each year—things like cost, coverage, and what providers and pharmacies are in their networks. October 15 to December 7 is when all people with Medicare can change their Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage for the following year to better meet their needs. To find 2019 health and drug plans, compare coverage options, or to estimate Medicare costs, go to Medicare.gov. You can also find Medicare Open Enrollment Period outreach and media materials here.

NEW NTP Self-Paced Course
Automatic enrollment in Medicare: Part A & Part B
You'll learn when Medicare enrollment is automatic. In the past, typical ages for Medicare and Social Security benefits enrollment were the same. Now, that has changed. This is why people don't always know they may need to take an action to get Medicare, or if they can expect to be automatically enrolled. You'll help people who are eligible for enrollment know if it'll be automatic for them, and inform them about the decisions they may need to make based on their circumstances.
Enroll in the course now. You’ll first be prompted to create a user account if you haven’t done so already. After that, you can launch the course. Check back often as we plan to add more courses in the future.
