Earlier this month, NIAID issued two funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) seeking applicants for its infectious disease vaccine and treatment evaluation units (VTEUs) and a new leadership group for an Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Consortium to carry out the institute's infectious disease clinical research priorities. The awards for both will be made in 2020.
