Updates to 170.315(g)(1) automated numerator recording and (g)(2) automated measure calculation

ONC anticipates releasing updated test method documents for 170.315(g)(1) and (g)(2) automated numerator recording and automated measure calculation in early 2019.

We thank commenters for the feedback on the draft eligible hospital/critical access hospital (EH/CAH) test method, which we are reviewing and working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on policy clarifications. We note that developers are able to test and certify to the EH/CAH measures today, including the changes CMS finalized in the 2019 Inpatient Prospective Payment System final rule. However, the test data and test procedure are in draft format until CMS issues further policy clarifications and ONC updates accordingly. We are working to denote the “draft” nature of the new and revised 2019 measures in the EH/CAH test method.

Please note that if CMS finalizes changes to the eligible professional/eligible clinician (EP/EC) Promoting Interoperability measures in the 2019 Physician Fee Schedule final rule, we anticipate releasing the draft updated EP/EC test method for public comment.

Now available: Cypress™ v4.0.1 and Cypress 2018.1.0 bundle

The Cypress™ v4.0.1 patch and Cypress 2018.1.0 bundle were released on 10/11/18. The Cypress v4.0.1 patch can be applied to an existing Cypress v4 installation. Instructions for installing or updating Cypress are available in the Cypress github. The 2018.1.0 bundle includes the addendum updates for the eCQM Value Sets for 2019 Reporting and Performance periods.
