Register Now for Nov. 4–6 Diagnostic Error in Medicine Conference in New Orleans

Registration is open for the Diagnostic Error in Medicine 11th Annual International Conference Nov.4–6 in New Orleans. The AHRQ-sponsored conference will bring together physicians, patients, nurses, health care professionals, researchers, institutional leaders and policymakers to showcase recent innovations to reduce errors and improve the diagnostic process. A 2015 National Academies report, Improving Diagnosis in Healthcare, recommended developing and deploying approaches to identify, learn from and reduce diagnostic errors and near misses in clinical practice. The 2018 conference will be focused on this recommendation; this year’s theme is “Innovating to Improve Diagnosis.”
