Trump administration officials talk drug pricing

Top federal health officials are convening in D.C. today for an annual summit on regulatory policy and scientific research — and while that might sound dry, there are some big names in attendance. FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb and Dr. Janet Woodcock — who runs the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research — are kicking off the meeting with keynote speeches this morning. CMS Administrator Seema Verma will lead off the remarks tomorrow. She'll be followed by HHS Deputy Secretary Eric Hargan, who is slated to give an update on the Trump administration's drug pricing blueprint.
