It’s been a busy year at STAT, from reporting on drug pricing debates and IBM Watson to the controversy around the “CRISPR babies.” But we always squeeze in time to see what other journalists are writing about in health and medicine. We rounded up some of our favorite reads this year in a “jealousy list” of stories we wish we’d done. (My pick: "It's 4 a.m. The baby's coming. But the hospital is 100 miles away,” by Jack Healy in the New York Times.) Check the list out here.
