Now Available: AHRQ 2019 SOPS Community Pharmacy Database Report
AHRQ’s Community Pharmacy Survey: 2019 User Database Report is now available. 2,157 pharmacy staff in 331 U.S. community pharmacies administered the survey and chose to submit their data to the Community Pharmacy SOPS database. The survey includes 40 items assessing patient safety culture.
Among survey findings:

- The Staffing, Work Pressure, and Pace composite measure had the lowest average percent positive response. Forty-five percent of respondents indicated there are enough staff to handle the workload, staff take adequate breaks, do not feel rushed, and work accurately despite interruptions.
