Drug pricing advocates to Congress: rework USMCA

The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing, which includes PBMs, hospitals, and insurers, sent a letter to members Congress today urging them to rework provisions of the trade deal formally known as NAFTA. They say the bill’s biologic provisions in particular will lead to much higher drug prices, and “strongly encourage” lawmakers to “protect American patients” by making changes.
