This interactive event will provide an overview of the state of maternal health care in rural communities, with a focus on access to maternal health services before, during, and after pregnancy. Attendees will learn about promising practices and help identify areas of opportunity to improve access to maternal health services and achieve health equity within rural communities.

Hosted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in collaboration with the Health Resources and Services Administration, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, National Birth Equity Collaborative, the National Rural Health Association, the Centers for Disease Control, and the Health and Human Services Office of Women’s Health.
