The Substance Use Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act affords practitioners greater flexibility in the provision of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). It extends prescribing privileges to “qualifying other practitioners” beyond physicians and expands the number of patients that may be treated, with conditions.
