Happy National Preparedness Month!
National Preparedness Month is recognized each September to promote family and community disaster and emergency planning throughout the year. It is important for clinical laboratory professionals to also recognize the value of disaster planning and preparedness since laboratories might be involved in responding to infectious disease outbreaks.

Check out some of the laboratory preparedness courses featured in our recent Laboratory Outreach Communication System (LOCS) message.
