South African Society of Travel Medicine (SASTM) Pan African Travel Medicine Congress (PATMC), 16-18 October, Nairobi, Kenya This conference will explore general aspects of practice including how to prepare the outbound traveller and work assignee as well as considerations for the ill returning traveller. It also provides an opportunity to network with delegates and expand the practice of travel medicine in Africa. There will be presentations by leading experts in the field and discussion.

13th Asia Pacific Travel Health Conference (APTHC), 18-21 March 2020, Auckland, New Zealand The APTHS will be 20 years old in 2020. Building on past experience, this conference will be sure to offer an exciting program. Topics will be especially pertinent to the Asia Pacific region, but of interest to all. ISTM Latin American Regional Meeting (RCISTM8), 21-23 May, 2020, Buenos Aires, Argentina The 8th Regional Meeting of ISTM will be held in concurrently with the 20th Argentine Congress on Infectious Diseases (SADI - Sociedad Argentina de Infectologia) and 5th Latin American Congress on Travel Medicine (SLAMVI - Sociedad Latinoamericana de Medicina del Viajero). This meeting will have a dedicated track for travel medicine. Registration will be handled by SADI and ISTM Members will receive a discounted registration fee of USD 150. Registration will likely open November 2019; ISTM will provide a link to the conference website when available.

Northern European Conference on Travel Medicine 2020 (NECTM8) 3-5 June, Rotterdam, The Netherlands  NECTM was founded by 12 travel health organizations and societies in eight countries to meet common educational needs in the expanding multidisciplinary field of Travel Medicine. In attendance will be travel medicine and health practitioners, infectious disease and tropical medicine specialists, researchers, general practitioners, nurses, pharmacists and students involved in the travel medicine field and related specialties. The programme will reflect current scientific challenges as well as specific travel medicine issues inspired by the maritime conference theme.
